All apartments are built in traditional Andalucian style, set in sub tropical gardens which contain four swimming pools. We have Penthouse, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments that sleep from 4 to 6 people, with double / twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. We are only 20 minutes by car from Malaga Airport, Costa Del Sol, Spain and perched above the town of Calahonda, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea where the sun shines 320 days a year. The La Orquidea Bar Restaurant is open throughout the year welcoming all our guests. Should you need a change from our garden swimming pools there are a variety of beaches within easy reach, offering a variety of watersport facilities - all with their own beach bars.

Our Apartments
All our apartments are fully furnished and decorated to the highest standards and receive satellite TV with English, Spanish and German channels. All of the kitchens are fully fitted and contain an oven/hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. We have irons, ironing boards and additional bedding and towels are available with a maid service that can be suited to your needs.
Our 2 bedroom penthouse apartment is one of the largest of it's kind in Calahonda with a floor area of 160 square metres. They are equipped to a very high standard as per the 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and including dishwasher, spa baths, hi-fi and video cassette recorder.
All apartments have magnificent views over the Resort, surrounding countryside and Mediterranean, with exceptional interior decor and come with a terrace complete with dining table, chairs and sunloungers.Calahonda
There are 30 golfcourses within a 10 mile radius of Calahonda, including one course which is only 400 metres from La Orquidea, whilst next door to La Orquidea is one of the largest tennis complexes on the Costa del Sol.
The jet set resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are only 10 minutes to the west whilst the lively Spanish town of Fuengirola is just 10 minutes to the east. Gibraltar, Seville, Granada and Cordoba are all within easy reach and daily tours can be arranged by our reception staff. A short ferry trip to Tangiers to experience a taste of Africa can also be accomplished within a day.
Nearby walks give spectacular views across the Mediterranean to Morocco and and the Atlas Mountains.
